Special Projects
At Red House Auto, we’re not your typical car dealer.
You still get all the benefits of buying from a professional dealer – carefully selected vehicles, thorough preparation, warranty cover, honest advice and outstanding after-sales support – but without the pressure, sales tactics or endless chasing. We believe buying a car should be straightforward, enjoyable and built on trust.
Alongside our vehicle sourcing and sales business, we also have a passion for something a little different: our Special Projects.
These projects aren't customer commissions (at least not yet). They're vehicles we choose because we love them, see potential in them, and enjoy the challenge of bringing them back to life. Whether it's a forgotten classic, an unusual future collectible or a car that simply deserves saving, our aim is always the same – to sympathetically restore, improve and preserve interesting vehicles for the future.
Our first completed project was a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, which received a comprehensive refresh combining classic character with modern usability. It proved hugely popular and reinforced why we love taking on these challenges.
Our current project is a 2001 Robin Hood sports car. This lightweight British kit car is undergoing a complete transformation, with extensive mechanical improvements, modern upgrades and a fresh new look, while retaining the raw driving experience that makes it so special.
These projects allow us to indulge our passion for cars, develop new skills and showcase the standards we apply to everything we do. Most importantly, they're great fun.
This is only the beginning. We have plenty more ideas, plenty more vehicles we'd love to save, and we'll be sharing every step of the journey right here.
